Keeper of the Hollow is a one of one lantern reliquary centered on the quiet guardianship of hidden places. At its heart rests an ethically sourced mole skull, set within a woodland hollow of bark, moss, and forest textures. The mole, a creature of underground paths and unseen labor, becomes a sentinel of thresholds and interior worlds.

The lantern itself serves as a vessel rather than a source of light. Its glass panels frame the interior like a preserved moment, holding stillness instead of illumination. Moss lines the walls and base, softening the structure and blurring the boundary between object and forest fragment.

This piece is assembled slowly by hand, guided by balance, intuition, and material presence rather than replication. Keeper of the Hollow is meant to be encountered quietly. It is a protective object, a liminal marker, and a companion for altars, shelves, and shadowed spaces.
